International fine art by seen.by

In the past years photography is sold more and more. There are quite a few shops out there such as Lumas or Whitewall. In the meanwhile the site seen.by sells high quality prints as well.

What I really like is the fact that you can determine the size of the photo exactly like you want it and that they other dibond and behind glass option. This is really high quality. I gave it a try and ordered one myself.

The best part is: Prints are a lot cheaper than on other services.

New shoes

I bought two pairs of shoes for my next shooting with Anika in a month.
Looking forward to it.

Social Networks: The future?

I am new to Facebook. After I deleted my Myspace account because of boredom,
I decided to give Facebook a shot. My conclusion is:

I don't believe the future lies in social networks. It is all an utopia.
People think they are putting communication into other levels but in the
end they are just slowing down cultural development.

I will explain.

The main problem nowadays (for at least 15 years) is overinformation and
overstimulation. We all face this problem every day. It is about
filtering necessary information and processing the valuable information
in your brain.

This process is stressful and exhausting.

Now, if you are kept up to date all the time via Facebook and Twitter
what your so-called friends are doing and thinking, it simply is too much.

Networking is a great thing. Making contacts in the world, finding other
people to work with or to exchange knowledge and information. Fantastic!

Unfortunately social networks are not used in such a way by people. The
vast amount of output is pure bullshit. I am not interested if someone
is putting on his winter jacket or waiting for the bus. Why do people
feel the need to share their boring life with others?

Please, only be loud if you have something to say.

Quantity over quality. This describes the social networks of today.
Let's see if other people understand that this is not our future and
where developments will go.

What's with the pubic hair?

http://malopost.wordpress.com/2008/02/11/demi-moore-nude-photo-exposed-very-h...

I am not sure if this magnificent head of hair is real or a fake. Maybe
that were the 80s. But it was in the media also that Kate Winselt wore a
hairpiece down under in one
of her recent movies.

Where can you buy such hairpieces?

Luscious Life

There is a book with a wonderful German title: "Gedichte vom südlichen
Ende der Couch". The original one even sounds better: "Dangling in the
Tournefortia". That's what I thought of when I shot this serious of
beautiful Melisa on the sofa. Enjoy!

Shooting Melisa

Making-of-melisa

Beautiful czech model Melisa arrived this morning. I picked her up and
she is being prepared for our shooting at the moment.

Another chance

It's 8 years old but still so wonderful. Another great source of
inspiration.

P.S. Next shooting: Sunday... I'll keep you posted.

Penélope Cruz - a source of inspiration

Last night I watched the movie "Zerrissene Umarmungen" (Los Abrazos
Rotos / Broken Emraces). This movie has so much impact and the story is
so dense. You can hardly breathe when it's over. Director Pedro
Almodóvar is a genious. And Penélope Cruz as well as the well picked
locations, colours and emotions are a great source of inspiration for
me. I can really recommend this movie.

Interview with me

For everyone who speaks French. Here is a long interview with me:

I live on the second floor

"Luca" was the name of the model. And we shot in an apartment on the
second floor. Hey, "Luca", "second floor"... Suzanne Vega? Can you hear
the melody?

P.S. To be continued...
