Tools review: The future of fixing with Sugru

Sugru

While I am not a craftsman, I like tools that are somewhat different and
promise to work. I just ordered new silicon glue from Sugru,
http://sugru.com/ and it really lasts.

If you need to fix anything (like a cable in my case), this stuff is
excellent.

(I was amazed to clean my dirty hands after usage with a dry paper as
described. Simply washing hands didn't work at all.)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
My collection is an expression of the skills and craftsmanship of
workers in the New SADLE NGO in Nepal, embodying quality, transparency
and timelessness. My mission is to slow down the fashion industry based
on the social aspect of sustainability focusing on transparency and
innovative design strategies.

This project comes from a reflection about the current luxury market.
Luxury brands, created in the twentieth century, were born under
specific circumstances of the society at that time. Now these brands are
working by mixing their tradition with innovation in order to keep their
values and to survive, but what about the start up brands? What does
society demand from the luxury market now? Do we even need more clothes?

My vision is to create a market for the original and special social
production of craftsmanship, by facilitating a better quality of life
and growth to the Nepalese communities. While at the same time meeting
consumer demands for more sustainable design.

Daniela Franceschini was born in Málaga, Southern Spain in 1987 with
Italian and Swedish origins. Daniela completed her Bachelor of Fashion
Design at the European Design Institute, Madrid in 2010. In addition to
interning with Spanish designer Elena Benarroch, she has also worked in
costume design for advertising. Her womens collection of recycled fur
Luxury and Sustainability has been exhibited in solo and group shows in
Madrid, Seville, and Florence.

Photoshop Tutorials with PSD files to download: Retouching of Photographer Stefan Dokoupil

Stefand
I regularly get e-mails of people asking how I retouch this and that.
There are so many different ways to do it. Stefan Dokoupil, a well known
Austrian photographer, offers PSD downloads with work examples how he
retouched his images. It's very interesting to see a step by step
tutorial of how he adds light and contrast to photos. You can simply
hide and unhide different layers in the photoshop files to see how he
worked upon his photographs:
