Photographer Jonathan Leder: A very sensual and warm journey to the past

Jonathan Leder's shoots nudes in an editorial like coverage style. There
is so much atmosphere in his pictures that it feels warm and sensual.
But the photographs also radiate melancholia which makes them stand out,
I believe.

EXIT Magazine Volume 3 Issue 1: Photography, Fashion and Art

I never browsed through a magazine like this. It put a smile on my face:

Victoria Beckham Fall 2009 campaign: Girls on swings

There has been a lot said about Victoria Beckham. And her collection. I don't care about this gossip. And I must say, I really enjoy the video campaigns for her fashion lines. The fall campaign from 2009 is simply beautiful. A street scene in London full of girls on swings. Pure poetry. Thumbs up!

Photographer Satoshi Saïkusa: Portraits of Females at Home (Chez Elles)

Japanese photographer Satoshi Saïkusa came to Paris in the 1980s and
shoots fashion for Vogue, Numéro, GQ and many more.

One of the series I really like is called "Chez Elles" and portraits
women (or girls) at home:

Jean-Yves Lemoigne: Pixeled Soft Porn Pictures

Jena

A great concept: Shooting photographs of 70s soft porn scenes and then
pixeling them threedimensional. These images are not pixeled by a simple
Photoshop Filter. This is the work of a Pro.

Excellent stuff. Visit the website of Jean-Yves Lemoigne to see all of
his images. The mentioned series can be found under "Editorial".

Love dolls: Surreal nude photographs by Stacy Leigh

Stacy

6 years ago I was in contact with the people from http://realdoll.com/
and asked if I could shoot their dolls. They agreed and I was really
happy. But unfortunately I didn't find the time to travel to Los Angeles
and so my shooting never happened.

Now I found excellent photographs by Stacy Leigh who actually managed to
shoot the dolls. I love the surreal look of the dolls. The other
photographs in Stacy's portfolio are wonderful as well:

Marcus Ohlsson and Camilla Åkrans: Great photographers from Stockholm

Lundlund

The editorials shot by Marcus Ohlsson and Camilla Åkrans look simply
gorgeous. Great colours, very sophisticated looks, dreamlike locations
and beautiful (probably Scandinavian) models.

Both photographers mentioned are represented by Lundlund, Stockholm:

G World Intimates: Behind the Scenes / Photoshoot of 2010 Catalogue

A "very American" production of Catalogue photos for G World Intimates.
Interesting to see how different styles are elsewhere.

Pirelli Calendar 2010: Making of video (Terry Richardson)

The Pirelli Calendar is always hyped very much. I am not into this hype
but I like to look behind the scene. So here comes a making of video by
Rafael Rubira showing how Terry Richardson shot the current calendar:

P.S. Karl Lagerfeld will be shooting the 2011 calendar.

Knotan: a Swedish photographer's portfolio

Knotan

There is an online portfolio with 14 times 14 thumbnails, that's 196
thumbs. Wait, one is missing. Anyways: behind every thumb there is a
photo story. Some are crazy, some are wild... and some are gross. But in
the end it is very interesting to see that you can feel that the photos
are from Scandinavia.

It's the portfolio of Swedish Knotan: http://knotan.com/index2.html

My new baby: Canon EOS 550D for filming HD video clips in the future

It's a lucky day. The postman just rang twice. And he delivered my new
baby: It's a Canon EOS 550D. What a cute little camera. Finally I will
be able to film short movies and clips in HD quality for my website.

It's a new challenge for me as I have neither filmed nor edited videos
before. Let's see how it works out.

To see how small the new camera is, I put my old 1ds MK II next to it.
The photos were taken with my 1ds MK III.
