I bought myself an elephant (and will ride through the jungle with it now)

I struggled for a while and wasn't really sure if I needed an elephant
for my work. Actually, I don't really do. But it is some kind of experience.

I couldn't warm up with Hasselblad. I just didn't feel it. And the
fancyness around it, was too much for me.

So, here is is: My new PHASE ONE 645DF with P40+ back and a Schneider
Kreuznach 80mm 2.8 lens. I am beginning with medium format photography now.

That doesn't mean that I ditched my Canon EOS 1ds MKIII. It is such a
superb camera that I am still in love with it, too.

But riding an elephant is fun, also. You have a different perspective
and the size is big.

Funny enough: The medium format camera weighs about 120g less than my
Canon one. But 2.380g are still a heavy package when holding in your
hands on a four hour shoot.

I am looking forward to riding the jungle!
