Logos on photos

I always wanted to go without my logo on each single photo that I
publish on my website. Clean images simply look nicer. Repeating a URL
on every photo looks very commercial.

Until now I refused to write text on my photographs. I simply put my
copyright notice in the metadata of the .jpg file (Read more at
Wikipedia about it, if you like:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Press_Telecommunications_Council )
and it was good for me.

Recently more and more Addons are coming out and bloggers who don't
write the photographers name underneath a photo that they took from a
website. It doesn't cost anything to state the source and it is a good
practice in our social coexistence. But more and more people simply
ignore that.

The removal of meta data on an image taken from another website could
also be valued as a criminal act. I don't want to be upset anymore.

This all is just really sad and forces me to put my URL in large letters
on each photograph that I publish on my website. It has to be in large
letters because often photos are downsized also and then the URL gets
blurred.

Please understand my reaction to the ignorant behaviour of a large
number of bloggers out there.
